Dr Shekhar Sehgal  is a consultant Diabetologist, Endocrinologist  and Physician at Te Whatu Ora Waitemata. He is one of the first adult physicians in NZ to take an active interest in Diabetes technology, completing his PhD in the wearable technology for type 1 diabetes management in 2024. He has experience working throughout New Zealand as both a Physician and Endocrinologist since 2018. Shekhar is multilingual and enjoys use this multicultural lens to address Endocrine and Diabetes issues .
