Sri is a New Zealand trained Gastroenterologist who grew up in the Bay of Plenty. He attended Medical School at The University of Auckland on a prestigious scholarship before completing his Advanced Training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine. Sri subsequently completed an overseas Fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Therapeutic Endoscopy, working alongside Professor Rupert Leong, an international expert in this field. During this time, Sri was also awarded a Master of Research Degree with Distinction for his research investigating the emerging challenges in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Sri has a strong emphasis on comprehensive patient focused care and he also currently practices at Middlemore Hospital as a consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and General Physician.
